The attorney general of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, announced Friday that was intercepted in venezuela territorial waters, at Nueva Esparta state, a Guyanese flag vessel used to smuggle 857 thousand liters of Venezuelan fuel.
“The ship named Wanderer was transporting 639 thousand liters of diesel in 12 ballast tanks that are not available for this cargo, and another 218 thousand liters in 8 fuel tanks destined for its propulsion machines for a total of 857 thousand liters,” he explained. the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab this Friday in a statement to the media.
Saab said that the value of the cargo is close to 500 thousand dollars and that the ship committed numerous infractions among which stand out: not having a ship validity that represents it in Venezuela, not having a navigation patent, neither a navigation nor a machine diary , also not having the role of crew or customs clearance of entry and exit.
