The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced this Wednesday the appointment of M / G Domingo Antonio Hernández Lárez as Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Navy FANB.

“Major General Hernández Lárez, you have fulfilled a brilliant, committed and profound work at the service of the Army, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and our Homeland, that is why I appoint you and promote you to General in Chief of the Army and in turn announce your appointment. as the new Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, ”said the Head of State.

The information was released by the Venezuelan dignitary, during the ceremony graduation to the rank of lieutenants and lieutenants in the categories of command officers, technicians and troops, held in the Patio de Honor of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela (UMBV),

Hernández Lárez belongs to the class of 1988. To date, he served as Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian Army. In July 2019, he was appointed as Commander of the Strategic Region of Comprehensive Defense Capital (REDI Capital).

He was commander of the Aragua Integral Defense Zone (ZODI) in 2017 and in 2018 he received the command of the Central Strategic Integral Defense Region (REDI), with jurisdiction in the states of Aragua, Carabobo and Yaracuy.
