The FSB of Russia publishes footage of the detention of adviser to the general director of Roscosmos, Ivan Safronov.
“Safronov, carrying out the task of one of the NATO special services, collected and handed over to its representative state secrets about military-technical cooperation, defense and security of the Russian Federation,” the Russian Federal Security Service said.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said of the treason allegations facing Safronov: “As far as we know this is not linked to his prior journalistic activity in any way.”
