African Lion 21, organized by the U.S. Africa Command with African allies and partners in Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal and the surrounding seas June 7-18, seeks to strengthen the capacity of the United States and partner countries to promote regional stability and support interoperability.
However, the Democratic Republic of the Sahara and Spain, a NATO ally, are not very happy.
