Final military tests of the Turkish-made Atmaca long-range anti-ship missile – which entered production in 2009, has a range of over 200km and boasts target update and mission abort data link capabilities – were an explosive success.
“Our enemies will fear our domestic product Atmaca,” said Naval Forces Cmdr. Adm. Adnan Özbal at initial tests in February.
