The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) carried out seizures and arrests in different procedures in the states of Zulia and Táchira bordering Colombia as part of actions against drug trafficking.
In Zulia state, FANB troops seized a small boat that was transporting 12 kilograms of marijuana, informed the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (CEOFANB), General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Likewise, in Táchira, military troops detained a citizen who was carrying more than a kilogram of cocaine, who was part of the “unwary” that the Colombian Armed Terrorist Drug Trafficking groups (TANCOL) recruit for activities related to micro-drug trafficking.
On September 29, 2022, during the 17th anniversary of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), the G/C Domingo Hernández Lárez, highlighted that the FANB strengthens the frontal fight against drug trafficking in Venezuela, in addition , announced that a total of 41 thousand kilos of cocaine and marijuana had been seized throughout the national territory
