Located southeast of the capital of Venezuela, Eurobuilding is one of the most recognized and luxurious hotels in the city. It has more than 600 rooms, whose profile varies from standard to luxurious deluxe. In addition, the hotel has a spa, gym, swimming pool and more than 10 meeting rooms. This hotel is part of the first and largest Venezuelan chain of 5 star hotels, with offices also in Miami, Buenos Aires and Quito.
The hotel already accepts six different cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, Binance, Litecoin and the stablecoin Tether (USDT). These will serve as means of payment for all the services offered by the establishment, such as restaurants, events, lodging, among others.
It is not included Petro
However, incorporation of digital currencies for Eurobuilding payment services is not the first initiative in favor of the Blockchain technology carried out by the hotel. Last year the Eurobuilding of Caracas became the first national hotel to house a Bitcoin ATM.
This team was the second to settle in the capital and was in charge of the Interchange company Veinte Venezuela. Currently, the country now has a total of five crypto ATMs installed nationwide.
On the other hand, it should be noted that among the group of digital assets incorporated by the hotel chain, there is no cryptocurrency of the national government, Petro. Despite the efforts of Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro to promote the adoption of Petro in different public and private sectors, there are many who still look suspiciously at this mechanism.
