Diary of a War: Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria reports:
On August 12, 2020, another 22nd joint Russian-Turkish patrol of the site took place along the M-4 road in the Idlib de-escalation zone, which links the cities of Aleppo and Latakia.
Joint Russian-Turkish patrols along the M-4 highway were carried out for the second time along the entire route from Trumba, two kilometers west of Saraqib, to Ain al-Khabr in Idlib province. The length of the joint patrol route was more than 70 kilometers.
Three BTR-82A armored personnel carriers participated in joint patrols from the Russian side.
The movement of the joint Russian-Turkish convoy from the air was controlled by UAVs of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The organization of the interaction between the parties was carried out through the Joint Coordination Center.
The first joint Russian-Turkish patrol of the M-4 highway section in the Idlib de-escalation zone took place on March 15, 2020. The length of the joint patrol route was shortened due to planned provocations by uncontrolled radical gangs for Turkey. In carrying out provocations, the terrorists tried to use civilians, including women and children, as “human shields”.
