Commissioner General FAES: Colombian paramilitaries advised criminals from Caracas neighborhood of Cota 905
The General Commissioner of the Special Actions Force (#FAES), Miguel Domínguez, affirmed that “it is undoubted that the Colombian drug government is the one who was directing these paramilitary gangs” that operated in Cota 905 caracas sector.
In this sense, he said that it has been shown that the techniques used by these armed groups, not only the setting up of sentry boxes and trenches, but also in assassinations, extortion payments , kidnappings and forced displacements, are typical of paramilitarism.
“We have already captured 3 Colombians and they have been confessing and at this moment we are after the search for the rest of Colombians (more than 20) who were advising this paramilitary band, whose objective was to prepare an insurgency for the taking of Caracas and the murder of the President and leaders of the Revolution, military and police chiefs ”, indicated Domínguez.
Intelligence and civic-military-police union were key
Intelligence factors together with the Civic-Military-Police union were key in the execution of the planning phases and actions carried out during Operation Gran Cacique Indio Guaicaipuro, at Cota 905, as stated by the General Commissioner of the FAES.
In this sense, Domínguez gave details about how the procedure was developed in which 120 combined command forces from all State security agencies and the group of command actions of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) participated, who after compiling the necessary information, they carried out the operations to take control of the trenches and the sentry boxes used by the armed groups that operated in the sector, and in this way guarantee the progressive advance of the security forces to “the bunker or the concrete” , a place where the terrorist elements made use of grenades and high-precision rifles.
He also explained that from this area, the commissions moved to the sector known as Las Quintas or Las Cumbres, the upper part. Techniques were applied here that guaranteed the neutralization of the elements in resistance and the protection of the civilian population, the situation being controlled by the authorities, who also freed a group of people who had been kidnapped by the terrorist group led by aka Koki; people who were asked for the sum of 300 thousand dollars for their release.
Already at night hours, with asymmetric and precise maneuvers, it was possible to advance until reaching other sectors, necessary to take in its entirety Cota 905 and consolidate the success of the operation
This operation allowed the liberation of the so-called Corredor Coche, El Valle, Cemetery, Campo Santo, Cota 905, until reaching La Vega. “He is totally liberated, consolidated, placed at the order of peace and at the service of the people of Caracas.
