Repression continues in Chile after nine weeks of protests
Chilean Agents public forces, again repressed a mobilization of Chilean citizens against President Sebastián Piñera, in Plaza Italia, renowned Plaza de la Dignidad, after serving nine weeks since the start of social protests in that country.

The majority of those affected are young people who have joined the mass protests to demand the President’s departure, improvements for all sectors of the country and a new Constitution, says the Telesur web portal.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) presented a report in which it states that as of October 18, there have been a high number of serious human rights violations.
