The Russian Federation MOD showed footages of the crews’s work of the BUK-M3 air defense system and the Nebo-SV radar in the Russian special operation.
Vladimir, deputy commander of the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile battery, said that now the main targets of his air defense system are enemy UAVs. He noted that they learned to accurately classify “Bayraktars” and “Leleks”, as well as to determine the nationality of UAVs in a few seconds.
“During the special operation, two Bayraktar UAVs have already been hit as part of the calculation. In the course of combat work, they were detected and destroyed in a timely manner, which prevented them from flying into the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, ”said Vladimir.
