Bolivarian Shield Military Exercises will be held on February 15 and 16 with the objective of implementing the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) Constitutional Law ,throughout its organizational, territorial and operational system.
The announcement was made by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on Tuesday afternoon at the Miraflores Palace, about occasion of the first anniversary of the Misión Transporte.
The Law, which consists of seven titles, 23 chapters, 30 sections and 190 articles, delves into issues such as the civic-military union for territorial defense, as well as incorporating the Bolivarian Militia as a special component of the military institution.
The President detailed that with the military exercises the territorial defense will be put in tune, including the cities, where FANB and Militia will adjust capacity of their professionals and their weapons systems in an integral, united and deployed manner.
“Those of us who love Venezuela will advance in offense, don’t lose a single day, it’s time to advance at the institutional, political, popular and military level. Offensive, advance and permanent battle!” He said.
