Belarus sends forces to its borders
The President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko gave the order to move the airborne brigade from Vitebsk to Grodno (on video) to the western border of the country in connection with the accumulation of military forces in Poland and Lithuania.
The head of state also pointed to the possibility of requesting direct military assistance within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which implies such in case of external aggression … of which Lukashenka constantly speaks.
The CSTO spokesman said that if Minsk requests help, the issue will be considered after consultations with all member countries of the organization.
As part of a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin, among other things, a cooperation agreement was reached so that Belarus does not become part of the anti-Russian “sanitary cordon”.
