Athlete Yulimar Rojas goes for more in IAAF Diamond League
Venezuelan athlete Yulimar Rojas will seek this Saturday, August 24, to accentuate her hegemony in the triple jump when she participates in the twelfth valid Diamond League, to be held at Charlety Stadium in Paris.
After winning the gold medal at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Rojas managed to patent the event’s mark by jumping 15.11 meters. This personal brand represents the highest triple jump in the world since August 2016.
Venezuelan has among its goals to work hard and very seriously to try to overcome the world record set by the Ukrainian Inessa Kravets in Gothenburg, Sweden, by jumping 15.50 meters in 1995.
However, the Paris meeting registration , established by the Russian Tatyana Lebedeva in 2003 at 15.12 meters, is an attainable goal.
