Military engineers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation seized arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region
Military correspondent Alexander Kots reports from near Kharkov:
Ukraine abandoned the largest arsenal in Europe here
The main attraction of Balakleya is the oldest and almost the largest armory in Europe. Since 2014, ammunition of all possible calibers has been sent from here to the Donbass and peaceful cities have been shelled.
Together with the engineers, we open the iron gate of the warehouse below. Mortar mines, shells for howitzers, ammunition for tanks. A separate warehouse filled with rockets for the Uragan MLRS. Boxes with TNT, missiles for air defense installations…
In one of the hangars I find a container with inscriptions in English. Interior: 60mm American mines. This caliber didn’t reach under restrictions of the Minsk agreements, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine generously sprayed them on the positions of the “separatists”…
By abandoning tens of thousands of tons of ammunition near Kharkov, kyiv greatly simplified the logistics of our army. Given the scale of the arsenal scattered over a vast territory, we could hardly destroy it completely
