Argentina is the new protest point on the world map.
In the Chaco region, a protest movement is growing, against the backdrop of the COVID19 epidemic, organized paramilitary groups to defend against “foreigners spreading the infection.” Restrictions on movement within the tribal territory are also set for the Argentines themselves.
Such associations have been operating in the region since 2018 without reference to a pandemic, but it was from April that they began to show activity and arm themselves.
