
Argentina authorizes entry of foreign troops for military exercises propose
The Executive Power promulgated Law 27,567 on Tuesday, which authorized the entry of foreign troops into the national territory and the departure of national forces to carry out a series of military exercises.
This was done through Decree issue 824/2020, in the Official Gazette, which promulgates a rule sanctioned by the National Congress on October 7.
The decree details that the authorization for the entry of troops is intended to “participate in the exercises contemplated in the Combined Exercises Program to be carried out from September 1, 2020 to August 31, 2021.”
The authorized combined exercises detailed in Annex 1 of the decree are: “Acrux X”, II: “Atlasur”, III: “Fraterno”, IV: “Ibsmar”, V: “Inalaf”, VI: “Integration”, VII: “Passex”, VIII: “Sarex”, IX: “Unitas Anfibio”, X: “Unitas Atlántico”, XI: “Exponaval”, XII: “Viekaren”, XIII: “Arandú”, XIV: “Tangue”, XV: “River”, XVI: “Harp” and XVII: “Tree”
