Israeli warplanes’ve attacked several points in the cities of Abu Kamal and Deir Ezzor, located in eastern Syria, reports the SANA agency.
SANA news agency local sources have informed that Israeli fighters shelled at 1:15 local time several areas in Deir Ezzor and Abu Kamal, both located in the eastern province of Deir Ezzor, near the border with Iraq.
A senior U.S. intelligence official with knowledge of the attack told The Associated Press that the airstrikes were carried out with intelligence provided by the United States — a rare incidence of publicized cooperation between the two countries over choosing targets in Syria.

The Lebanese television network Al-Mayadeen has reported, in turn, several explosions on the border between Syria and Iraq, without reporting possible human victims.
Since the beginning of the conflict in Syria in 2011, Israeli bombardments against military or civilian targets in the Levantine country have abounded. Many of the attacks have been neutralized by the Syrian air defense.
The Syrian Government denounces that the Israeli attacks are aimed at providing aid to terrorist groups such as Daesh or bands related to Al-Qaeda, while ensuring that it will respond adequately to the aggressors in due course.
