
2 policías muertos en atentado a gobernador colombiano
Two National Police and several were injured after attacks by alleged FARC dissident guerrillas. The incident occurred when the soldiers were guarding the governor of Caquetá, Arnulfo Gasca, who was unharmed, the authorities reported.
According to the authorities, the governor’s caravan was attacked on the road that connects the town of Solano with the city of Florence, where the wounded after the terrorist attack were taken.
The two fatal victims were identified as patrolmen William Adolfo Echeverría and Miguel Ángel Bernal.
