At the Mogadishu recruiting station, a suicide bomber blew himself up, killing 15 people and injuring about 30.
The Al-Shabab group claimed responsibility for the blast. Captain Abdi Barre of the Somalia Police has confirmed the attack on the General Abdikarim Yusuf Dhagabadan base.
Somalia is facing an increase in the number of attacks by Al Shabaab, which maintains ties with the terrorist organization Al Qaeda, both in the capital and in other parts of the south of the country.
